Life line of a Nation: Public Infrastructure

Share Button

Public infrastructure is the lifeline of any nation. Development of the infrastructure is directly proportional to the development of the nation. Great infrastructure leads to the development of the great nation. If we compare the infrastructure of the developed country in the world to the developing or under developed countries, we can easily figure out the reason that why they are developed.

Current state of the public infrastructure are very bad in our nation, irrespective of the location whether it is urban or rural. There is no proper roads, electricity, clean water, disposable system, public utilities etc. We have to look forward to resolve the infrastructure related issues in urban and rural areas both. Also, we have to make sure that during the establishment of the infrastructure we have to maintain the environmental balance.

We have to ensure the development of infrastructure in every corner of the nation and not only the capital or metro cities only. We can implement the transparent disbursement of government funds and ensuring the tracking of that. The funds details should be available on the internet so that everyone could know what is investing, how much is investing and where is investing.

Also, development of the infrastructure will generate lots of new jobs in whole country and this will stops the human resources migration to other places. The transport system should be without red lights, we can implement underpasses and flyovers to make the transport fast.

We can also join the rivers across the nation to ensure that river water reaches everywhere. Also we need to implement policies, not only create, to clean the rivers. This will be one of the steps towards controlling the floods and drought.

We have to look forward the natural ways to generate electricity like solar energy, bio-gas etc. and not only towards the coal and petrol. Also, we have to ensure that public utilities should be found nearby to every place.

We can improve public transport system so good that people will prefer to use public transport instead of personal vehicles. We can automate the complete public transport and use of plastic card should make mandatory rather than cash. We can implement one card system to use in every mode of public transport. This will ensure the transaction of the money and improve the tax collection, which is not good in current system of unorganized transport system. This collected amount will again use for proper maintenance of the developed public transport system.

We can make the best support system using modern technologies. We can work on the model of how private industries work and will convert the complete government lethargic working system to active working system and let people work for government and proud to be part of it, specially PWD and policing.
